Mid-life crisis? What mid-life crisis?

My Mini is a 1993 Mini Cooper 1275 1.3I which, on 16 November 2009, had done 30,080 genuine miles. I am its third lady owner.

This car is my eighth Mini. I owned my first one (also red) in 1968. Over the years, whenever I replaced my car, I always bought a Mini.

In 2001 I had one of those new-fangled BMW Mini Coopers which was very nice (air-con, sliding roof, leather seats – the works), but for all its comfort and luxury, somehow,  it wasn’t quite the same.

When I grow up I want to be a Monte Carlo Mini Rally driver. I love my latest Mini.
